As a fitness coach, you can earn money while you obtain your personal fitness and diet goals by helping others do the same. People can make money from home by helping others.
Some of the major things that people ask me regarding fitness are, “what’s the secret to losing weight in the gym? How can I tone up and build muscle?” I have read and heard a lot of rubbish with people trying to answer this question. The majority of people give bad advice and if you want a factual answer – the secret is hard work. If you attend the gym I would highly recommend you use a fitness plan which is tailored to you. Everyone is different and has different fitness needs relating to their body shape and their metabolism etc. You shouldn’t only do cardio or just go and do weights. A good fitness plan involves a range of exercises. Females need to do weight exercises too, don’t be put off to go into the weights area and complete your exercises.
Improve! Get better in some way. You may not always be able to do what you did as a young person but there are ways where you can become even better than you were. And I’ve seen people who were very sedentary as young people who have steadily improved their physical Fitness level as they’ve aged. One client of mine, Lisa, told me she’s (in her 60s) in the best shape of her adult life. Isn’t that what Fitness gym is about? If you really think about fitness, isn’t it about getting better, improving and doing what you need to do to feel better about yourself and your physical body? Aren’t those things mostly about quality and not quantity?
For example, a guy comes up and says he wants to “shoot you” for the magazines, but what do you really know of this guy? He has a camera and some business cards, so that makes him a photographer right? Wrong! If someone want to shoot you and they are not a well-known name (and you should know who the well known photographers are because you researched that already!), find out who they are. Do they have references you can call? Girls you can contact he has shot before and were happy with the work? What magazines has he published in? Does he do it professionally or as a hobby? That type of thing.
The combination of having a tailored fitness program and attainable goals is a wonder worker in the motivational department. Imagine aiming to lose 12lbs in one month and achieving your goal. There’s no doubt that will give you the confidence to move forward and push yourself even further.
It has been my experience that most people know what to do for their overall success though they choose to stay in their comfort zone and continue to be mediocre. Choose today to change your daily habits and disciplines and watch your entire existence transform.
The next hurdle to overcome is a lack of equipment. Few people are fortunate enough to have a fully equipped home gym, so home fitness efforts have to be maintained using what is at hand and tailoring exercises to suit what’s available.
